Rates & commission agreements
All commission packages have starting prices in USD. Every brief is personally reviewed; scope, pricing and all fees require your written approval before work begins. Product prices are shown in the actual Ko-fi listing and checkout.
The written agreement covers a deposit before work, concept approval, an agreed revision allowance, any additional revision fees, final delivery after payment and usage rights. A 50% deposit applies only when explicitly approved in writing for that project—not to every commission. Cancellations account for earned work and applicable legal rights.

Important commission policies
- All prices are starting prices in USD and may vary depending on project requirements.
- No work begins until the customer approves the final quote. Custom commissions are personally reviewed and approved by the studio owner.
- Additional revisions or major design changes may incur additional charges, agreed in writing before the additional work begins.
- Digital products are delivered electronically. Physical printing and shipping are quoted separately.
- Customers must have permission to use any copyrighted images or materials they provide.
- Commercial usage and extended licensing must be agreed upon separately.
Terms of Service
Artwork and availability
Items marked Sample are examples of the website presentation, not real listings for sale. Available work must be purchased from a verified listing on the studio's linked storefront. That listing's description and checkout information govern what is being purchased.
Custom requests
Submitting a brief is a request, not an accepted order or payment. Every request is reviewed personally. Scope and final pricing are confirmed before the studio accepts work. Share only references you have permission to use.
Checkout and questions
Payments take place on the external storefront, not this website. Ask midnightchromestudio@gmail.com about unclear product details or commission terms before buying. Commission scope, fees and usage rights require written agreement before work begins.
Refund Policy
Digital downloads
The studio does not offer change-of-mind refunds after a digital product has been successfully downloaded. Defective files, incorrect delivery and refunds required by applicable law remain eligible for correction or refund. Contact the studio with your order reference and purchase platform; never send card details.
Physical prints
Report damaged, defective or incorrect items within 30 days of delivery. Contact the studio before returning merchandise and provide order details and evidence of the issue. After verification, a replacement or refund is available. Physical orders may be canceled before production or shipment where possible. Longer statutory rights remain unaffected.
Custom commissions
Deposit and cancellation terms must be agreed in writing before payment. Cancellations account for earned work and applicable legal rights, including refunding unearned amounts where due. No blanket nonrefundable deposit or automatic cancellation fee applies.
Shipping Policy
Digital files
Digital downloads are files, not shipped physical products. Check the actual storefront listing for included files, sizes and delivery instructions.
Processing and transit
Physical products are made to order where indicated. Processing time is separate from shipping time. Delivery estimates, available destinations and charges must be shown in the real listing or checkout. Tracking is provided when available. This policy does not establish physical stock or a connected fulfillment partner.
Addresses, customs and delays
Customers should provide an accurate shipping address. International orders may incur customs duties or taxes. Carriers and circumstances outside the studio's control can affect delivery. Applicable shipping-delay notices, cancellation choices and refund rights still apply; carrier delays do not remove consumer protections.
Lost, damaged or incorrect orders
Report issues promptly, preferably within 7 days of delivery for shipping damage, with your order reference and evidence. This prompt-reporting request does not shorten the 30-day damaged/defective/incorrect-item window or any longer rights under applicable law. Contact the studio before returning items so a verified replacement or refund can be arranged.
Order help
For an existing storefront purchase, use that platform's order information and contact midnightchromestudio@gmail.com with your order reference. This website does not provide order tracking.
Digital Product License
Personal use
Personal-use permissions must be stated in the real product listing. Personal purchases do not authorize commercial use, resale or redistribution of the digital file, or physical products for sale. Sample listings do not grant any license.
Commercial use license
A separately agreed paid commercial license may allow specifically identified business projects or marketing uses. It does not allow resale or redistribution of the original file as a standalone product, sublicensing or claiming ownership. Physical products for sale require an appropriate extended license. No license price is established here.
Extended or exclusive agreements
Negotiated agreements must identify permitted uses, distribution quantities, exclusivity, fees and any copyright transfer. Midnight Chrome Studio retains copyright where it owns the rights unless a separate signed copyright assignment explicitly transfers them. Purchasing artwork does not automatically transfer copyright.
Custom work
Usage rights are limited to the written commission agreement. A deposit before work, concept approval, included revision allowance, possible additional revision fees and final payment arrangements are agreed in writing before work begins. Final files are delivered after agreed payment is completed. A 50% deposit applies only when the individual project’s special terms are explicitly approved in writing; it is not a universal rate.
